Terminating Fallacies: It’s Tea, Not Boba!

Terminating Fallacies: It’s Tea, Not Boba!

"Differences were meant not to divide, but to enrich." — J.H. Oldham

Hello, tea lovers. How are you? Welcome back to our latest blog. Today, I am here to address a common misconception among our customers. They say, “You guys serve tea? Like Boba tea?”

While I appreciate the enthusiasm for all things tea, I thought it was time to set the record straight. La Maison Bleue does not serve boba tea.

Rather we offer a diverse range of unique beverages, such as Fruit Tea, Milk Tea, and Coffee, made from Organic Ingredients. Let me clear the confusion and explain what makes our products different and, of course, special.

Organic Tea – A Harmony of Purity and Simplicity

At La Maison Bleue, our menu is designed to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences, celebrating flavor and creativity, particularly for health-conscious people.

We offer seasonal drinks including our Midnight Purple Tea (lavender), Summer Peach Tea made with Oolong tea, and Hibiscus Punch Tea. These are new and returning flavors for our grab-and-go teas in 15oz bottles. If you want to experience our seasonal cafe drinks, you can try our popular CoCo Matcha (made with real coconut water and coconut meat) with our ceremonial matcha foam on top. Since it is peach season in Texas, we created a summer refresher fusion drink combining Texas Peaches from Hamm's Orchard and Japanese flavors, resulting in our new drink, Momo Calpico. The drink also introduces a twist: when presented, many people think we are giving them an olive, but it is actually a Japanese Mountain Peach. It has been a summer success along with our other summer specials.

We do not offer boba tea due to the overuse of sugar, sweeteners, and other ingredients. That being said, we have created a drink popular among all age groups, our Matcha Zenzai. This drink brings flavors from Japan with red bean, your choice of milk, ceremonial matcha, and dango.

What is dango? It's mochi! We caramelize our dango to give it an extra flavor burst with the drink. At La Maison Bleue, we focus on unique experiences and flavor profiles that others shy away from. It's uncharted territory for the beverage space, but we understand the journey before us. We've been doing this for over five years and we are only just getting started.

We Focus on Quality Ingredients and Innovative Flavors

We aim to serve high-quality, healthy, and exceptionally refreshing beverages. We are committed to using premium ingredients to create drinks that stand out for their flavor, innovation, and health benefits. Through consistent experimentation, Anna and her team work hard to ensure that every drink we make is a perfect balance of taste and quality, designed to surprise, nourish, and delight with every sip.

What’s Boba Tea and Why We Are Not Boba Tea?

Boba tea, or bubble tea, is a fun and trendy drink known for its sweet flavor and chewy tapioca pearls. Originating in Taiwan, it has become popular for its distinctive texture and quite indulging flavor. However, it’s quite unfortunate to note that boba tea has evolved, and many commercial versions are now bubbling with excessive sugar and artificial ingredients. In contrast, our teas offer a different experience – unique blends that complement their flavor profiles with seasonal ingredients rather than relying on the high sugar content and artificial essences typical of boba. Our brand people, brewers, and the farmers from whom we source ingredients are all devoted to one particular thing – producing real and organic foods and teas that highlight real flavors and offer a healthy and nourishing alternative to the overly sweet and adulterated boba trend.

Why Does Terminating Fallacies Matter?

Our goal at La Maison Bleue is to serve a refined and distinctive tea experience for everyone. Bleue's teas fit all lifestyles—from those who are active and studying to those busy with meetings or simply looking to unwind. We are here fighting the beverage issue in America where most of the teas/beverages are bitter, boring, and full of sugar (BBS). We handcraft drinks that highlight real, natural flavors and seasonal ingredients.

So, if you want to explore a refreshing and unique tea experience, visit us at La Maison Bleue. While we don’t serve boba tea, we are sure you will find a new favorite among our diverse and delightful offerings, including dessert-like drinks such as the Japanese Cream Soda, seasonal fruity teas, and milk teas that focus on the quality and taste of Japan—bringing a little bit of Japan home to Dallas.

With each sip, move towards a healthier alternative and a simpler lifestyle because, as the team Bleue says, "True elegance is in simplicity."
